As a member of CASU 17 on the island of Tarawa, my father David A. Sherman, served as a plane captain on many different aircraft while being an aviation machinist mate (instrument specialist) for the unit.

My name is Tim Sherman. I currently reside in northern Kentucky and have for the past nine years. As a north Louisiana native, I have always enjoyed fishing and hunting but my love of aviation was present at an early age. Inspired by my dad.... I loved the study of WWII history, especially that period of industrial and aviation growth. When alive, my dad did not talk much about his experiences but after years of questioning and research, my passion for the men, women, aircraft, and the nation's industrial might, fascinated me. Later in my life, I began to put on paper what interested me the most.... This recreated artwork is a part time venture and my way to share my rendered memories of the results of America's determination... the aircraft of WWII.

My pen and ink prints began as a tribute to my Dad who faithfully served in the pacific during WWII. dad enjoyed having these renderings displayed and now I am wanting others to enjoy either their personal memories of the era or maybe ones passion for the aircraft type. This is my way of saying thanks to the young men and women of the "greatest generation" that served our United States all across the world.
Now is the time for me to share these renderings and to continue a passion of mine. I hope that in the near future my inventory will increase to cover most of the popular aircraft of America's great past. Thanks for your interest and God Bless.
